Year 6 Teacher and English Lead (with TLR) We are seeking an exceptional and passionate teacher to join our dedicated team at St Wilfrid's Catholic Academy. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching in Year 6 and driving improvement in English across the school. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 6 pupils Lead the development and implementation of the English curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of all learners Provide support and guidance to colleagues in the teaching of English Analyse and interpret data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective intervention strategies Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Be committed to actively upholding the Catholic ethos of our school Excellent subject knowledge in English Proven experience in teaching at the primary level, with a strong track record of delivering good or outstanding lessons Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with pupils and parents Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to continuously improve teaching practice Desirable Qualities: Experience in leading and managing a subject area Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to think creatively and implement innovative teaching strategies Passion for promoting a love of learning and fostering a positive, inclusive school culture What We Offer: Professional Development Opportunities
