The governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and cheerful Play Leader / Lunchtime Supervisor to ensure the care and well-being of pupils in the dining hall and playground/field. The successful candidate ideally will have experience of working with children, be flexible, be able to work well within a team and be willing to undertake training. Duties include:
To be responsible for the supervision of pupils during lunchtime and the provision of a safe, stimulating and fun range of indoor and outdoor activities for the pupils during lunch time. To lead the Lunchtime Supervisory Assistants in organising a range of play activities appropriate to the needs of the children. To support school behaviour management by supervising areas of the school during lunchtimes. The post holder will be responsible for the safety, welfare and good behaviour of pupils during lunchtime. To abide by the school policies and procedures including equality procedures. Hours: 11:30 to 13:00 term time, 7 hours 30 mins per week. This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods; however, your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement. The post is customer facing and the ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. Closing date:
