Fixed-term Graphic Designer – Reporting to the Head of Creative Studio for Aegon Responsibilities: Tasks include supporting the Head of Creative Studio and wider creative team to implement and adapt concepts into finished artwork, follow corporate guidelines to create new designs for both print & digital formats, typesetting literature, updating, and reformatting various pieces of marketing collateral, and assisting with studio artwork amends if necessary. You will be a valuable member of the team, thanks to your natural artistic ability, communication skills, eye for creative layout, attention to detail and ability to deliver new ideas within a fast-paced corporate environment. Providing skilled and technically precise outputs to specification, you will also advise on artistic direction for projects, production of concepts, storyboards for video and animation and work closely with senior designers to implement their design ideas. Skills Required: A good understanding and application of brand and corporate guidelines. Expert experience in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Ability to interpret client briefs and work independently. Methodical approach to managing artwork files and assets. Excellent communication skills written and verbally. Collaborative skills to work closely with account managers, designers and artworkers as well as the client. Experience designing creative concepts for events, initiatives, and campaigns as well as typesetting text heavy documents ready for production. Experience in creating both digital and traditional artwork for print. Ability to follow client mark-up accurately and make amends to literature in a timely fashion. Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment. Creative passion mixed with a fastidious nature, strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Working knowledge and experience of Adobe After Effects & Premier Pro and can effectively utilize to create and edit video and animations.
