Main duties of the job Support the Senior Nurse in delivering and supporting effective care to patients. Assist with managing the healthcare service across the socially vulnerable groups that we support. To deputise for nursing colleagues during any periods of absence. To represent the primary and community care viewpoint at operational and strategic meetings when necessary. Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe effective delivery of health care, including mental health and public health services. To act as an accountable role model and clinical expert for healthcare. Responsibility for the promotion and use of the audit cycle within clinical practice. Support the development and implementation of Healthcare Policies and procedures. Responsibility of offering the initial assessment/completion of the All Wales Blue book to Asylum seekers living in ABUHB Locality. Responsibility of providing cultural awareness training and needs of the socially vulnerable groups to other disciplines for example g.p practices staff, mental health teams, and Accident and Emergency staff. Work in conjunction with other disciplines in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare service provision to ensure a smooth patient pathway through the services.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
