We are looking for a Specialist Nurse/SALT/OT/ASW Psychological Practitioner to join the well established and Autism Assessment Team in North East London NHS Foundation Trust. The role primarily involves working with children and young people and their families and carers. This is a great opportunity to join our highly skilled, dedicated and friendly team. Qualifications

Experience

Substantial experience of working with CYP with complex mental health needs. Minimum 4 years post registration experience in acute and/or community setting Minimum of 2 years experience of working with children and young people who have complex health care needs and disabilities Experience of multi-agency/disciplinary working Evidence of innovative and evidence-based practice CAMHS/CYPMHS Experience Skills

Basic awareness of IT and IT skills Proven ability to prioritise and manage a caseload (self & others) without supervision Demonstrates the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team The ability to provide effective clinical teaching/training to carers and staff who are not medically trained Ability to respond appropriately to children and young people in need and/or children at risk in accordance with local and national safeguarding guidance Knowledge

An awareness of NHS Plan, NSF and clinical governance priorities Possess in-depth understanding of clinical, social and family situations. Able to work and assess holistically the child and family In-depth knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and adult procedures Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly We believe in bringing your authentic and best self to work, in order to deliver the best care to our patients.
