Senior Product Conformance Engineer

to join their Conformance department. This critical role focuses on ensuring products meet mandatory conformance standards for European and North American markets. The ideal candidate will have: Essential experience :

Over 5 years of experience in product approvals and conformance certification. Familiarity with RF, EMC, SAR, Safety, and Environmental testing specifications. Expertise in obtaining external certifications (e.g., FCC, IC, EU) and working with external test houses. Proficiency in the Radio Equipment Directive, EMC Directive, LVD, CE marking, and regulatory standards such as WEEE, RoHS, and REACH.

Desirable experience :

Hands-on experience with product approvals, ATEX certification, and test result analysis. Familiarity with a variety of communication standards. Knowledge of RF testing tools (e.g., Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers, Signal Generators).

What will you be doing? Identifying and interpreting regulatory requirements for products in Europe and North America. Developing test plans and regimes to ensure products meet mandatory conformance standards. Working with Project Managers and Technical Leads to prioritise and schedule testing. Managing both internal and external testing activities, liaising with test houses, and resolving issues. Maintaining detailed test records and creating a comprehensive test history library. Analysing and interpreting new approval standards, creating Declarations of Conformity, and preparing reports for management. Interested in the role?
