QEH is one of the leading independent schools in the country, well known within a competitive market for high academic achievement. We aim to produce young adults who are well-educated, not just well-qualified. QEH offers an outstanding co-curricular programme and high-quality pastoral care. Staff at QEH model our school values – that is to be curious, kind, positive and collaborative.
This is an important and influential role and the individual appointed will have significant responsibility to lead and develop the preparation of the pupils of QEH for life after school. The Head of Futures will work closely with SLT and all staff in delivering an innovative careers, employability and skills development programme across the school.
There is no required subject specialism from applicants who are teachers, but it is anticipated that the post-holder will teach a proportion of a full timetable equivalent to a Head of Department.
Although we are advertising for a full-time role, applications for part-time working will also be considered.
At QEH School we know that diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equity of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive and we welcome applications from under-represented groups.
