Registered Supported Living Manager Location: Carlisle Salary: £45,000 per annum Full Time: Permanent TRC are working in partnership with a fantastic care provider on the recruitment of an experienced registered Supported Living manager. The service supports adults with learning disabilities & challenging behaviours. If you have experience of managing a learning disabilities & challenging behaviours service and knowledge of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations we would love to hear from you! You will have direct management of a 6 bed service. You will manage staff teams providing support and regular supervisions, ensuring that the service is run in accordance with company vision and values. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that all statutory and legal obligations are fulfilled across the business structure to the highest standard, promoting a culture of improvement and best practice at all times. Ensure the highest level of care standards are upheld in line with the CQC. Provide support for adults with Learning Disabilities & Challenging Behaviours. Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory guidance. Ensure that the home is run in accordance with company ethos and The CQC Standards. Oversee the delivery of high quality, person centred support to all individuals including contribution to development of support plans, risk assessments and review documents. Support service users to ensure that their physical, social and emotional needs are met, ensuring that they are treated as individuals with their own unique support needs and aspirations. Ensure that the dignity and individuality of each service user is respected and that they are able to exercise choice in all areas of their life. Lead and motivate a dedicated staff team, providing support and regular supervisions to enable their development. Contribute proactively to the development, implementation, maintenance and management of systems, processes, procedures and/or standards within the area of responsibility. Ensure the service meets the compliance requirements by implementing, monitoring and reviewing through the audit process and developing and maintaining an improvement action plan. Support staff to document good practice and celebrate success. Work with clients, partner organisations and external professionals in a professional and competent manner, maintaining confidentiality and diplomacy at all times. Requirements: NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management or working towards. Experience and a proven track record of successful management of services for individuals with Learning Disabilities & Challenging Behaviours in a supervisory role. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of care professionals. Full UK driving licence.
