An opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse to join the friendly Lower Lea Valley Integrated Community Team which provides care to patients in Cheshunt and surrounding areas. The service covers the hours of 08:00 - 22:00 7 days a week. If you are a student nurse, we would welcome your application, as working in an acute Trust is not compulsory before gaining your first position in the community; we provide full training and support. We also welcome applications from acute nurses who are looking for a community-based role. Main duties of the job

The post offers varied and interesting community experience in a well-supported environment and is an ideal opportunity for a nurse interested in working in the community. Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, provide, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care for a wide range of conditions. The team covers a 7 days a week service; therefore, a flexible approach to working is required. The successful candidate will be committed to teamwork, have good communication, decision-making, and planning skills. Providing a high standard of patient care using an evidence-based framework. The post holder is a member of the Integrated Community Nursing Team and may take responsibility in the absence of the Community Nursing Sister for the team and caseload. The post holder is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualised nursing care to patients living in the community. The service is provided 7 days per week. Please be aware that if you are applying from overseas, we expect overseas candidates to have FULL registration with the NMC (including an OSCE pass). If you do not have full NMC registration, unfortunately, your application will not be successful. While we can sponsor fully registered candidates who live outside the UK, we are unable to pay relocation costs.
