The contractor’s growth from a small startup to a leading Civil Engineering highlights their dedication, expertise, and innovative approach. Due to continued success, they are now looking to onboard a Senior Estimator to their team.
Your new role
You will be responsible for, but not limited to, preparing estimates and tender submissions in line with tender enquiries and company procedures, obtaining/agreeing suitable material prices and hired plant rates for inclusion within the tenders, liaising with clients and the contracts department as well as maintaining good relationships with all parties and disseminating all necessary information promptly.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will be confident estimating from first principles and have an understanding of Quantity Surveying. In addition, you will also understand the process of getting a project priced up, cost plans and understand the timings to get each process followed through. Finally, you will be an effective team player and communicator.
