This Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for the RDUHs four Community Hospitals and the Mardon Neuro Specialist Rehabilitation Unit. Main duties of the job

We deliver a wide range of emergency, specialist and general medical services through North Devon District Hospital and the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital (Wonford). Alongside our two acute hospitals, we provide integrated health and social care services across a variety of settings, including community inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and within people's own homes. Our state-of-the-art equipment and strong links to local universities enable us to provide world-class care to our local communities. More detail about the role Working with the clinical leads and Operations Manager, the postholder will be responsible for the overall operational performance and quality and safety of these units. With over 100 rehabilitation beds within this group of services, there is scope to develop the units to ensure that they are serving the needs of the local population. The post holder will need to be a visible leader who is comfortable solving complex problems involving multiple stakeholders. The Standard Operating Procedure for the units has recently been refreshed. Focuses for the role include developing the units so that the standards set out are met and monitored, collaborating with clinicians to test and refine new clinical pathways, improving systems and assurance to track operational performance and clinical activity, and reviewing and improving productivity of the units. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and an ability to work at this level. Strong communication skills and an ability to work with a range of people will be essential to being successful in this role. Working Pattern:
