An opportunity has arisen for a Principal or Associate level Structural Engineer to join a multi-award winning engineering and environmental design consultancy with a proven reputation for technical excellence and exceptional client satisfaction.
You will be joining a design development team in Leicester that delivers a wide variety of consultancy services to a large client base, both local and national.
They are looking for a Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng MIStructE OR MICE) with significant experience working on both commercial and residential building structures, as these will be the projects on which you will take a leading role. You will be responsible for producing design calculations and mentoring junior engineers to help them progress their abilities.
Working on challenging multiple projects simultaneously, you will undertake preliminary and detailed designs and provide technical support activities. You will work with limited support and supervision and take responsibility for your own learning while supporting the development of junior team members.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Engineer to enhance their skills and develop within a well-established company. Alongside technical delivery and project leading responsibilities, you will be expected to develop client opportunities, chase leads, and be a front-facing contact for the company.
