Mortgage Administration Manager A directly authorised, Independent Mortgage Brokerage. The company's main aim is to provide the best and most impartial advice available to its clientele. The company is keen to hire a Mortgage Administration Team Manager (overseeing Residential and BTL mortgage cases as well as Bridging and Development Finance Loans) to join their established team based in Godalming, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities for the Mortgage Administration Manager:

Successfully leading a small team of experienced Mortgage Administrators, providing suitable technical case administration support and development where required. Overseeing the allocation of case files to team members while managing your own caseload. Keying mortgage applications into different lenders' online systems, primarily focusing on Residential and BTL mortgage cases as well as the specialist finance market. Providing administrative support to the Mortgage Brokers. Managing the client service experience through to completion by communicating with clients, lenders, and solicitors to ensure smooth progress of the application. Detailing all conversations and actions taken in the CRM System and becoming familiar with the mortgage sourcing system used. Gathering original documents from clients as required by lenders. Uploading documents onto the system within the required compliance timescales. Scanning file documents onto the system and ensuring the final file meets the required compliance standards. Ensuring all work meets the required FCA compliance standards. Contacting existing clients to review their circumstances and products. Assisting the team with any other duties as reasonably requested.

Key Candidate Attributes for the Mortgage Administration Manager: Extensive Mortgage Administration experience (Residential, BTL, or specialist mortgage case experience) gained within the independent market, ensuring familiarity with multiple lenders' mortgage products and online portals/platforms. Preferably team leadership/management experience. Alternatively, if you are an ambitious Mortgage Administrator with a wealth of experience within this sector and keen to step up into a team leader/manager role, your application will be welcomed. Excellent English written skills and telephone manner, with experience in dealing with all types of clients from diverse backgrounds. Must demonstrate technical ability and be confident with mortgage terminology. Must be able to demonstrate initiative and ability to time manage and prioritise cases through to completion. Desire to progress in a professional and growing business.
