What you'll be doing: In this highly commercial role you'll be business partnering with the store operations team to provide financial support across the store network. You'll be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end commissions process to ensure our colleagues are paid accurately and on time, alongside this you will provide financial support and analysis on store profitability, cost control and sales performance. You'll work closely with our internal commissions team to oversee the monthly commissions calculations and you'll be responsible for calculating the quarterly store manager profit share payments and reviewing the P&L for any anomalies and adjustments. Internal stakeholder relationships are a key part of the role, you'll liaise with Heads of Regions to communicate payments, review feedback and work through exceptional cases. You'll also work closely with the payroll and commissions teams to help to resolve any colleague queries. You'll be responsible for explaining variances to budget, providing an overview of future costs and working with finance to help shape the accruals process so that accurate costs are reflected in the accounts each month. Outside of commissions you'll support the stores teams on weekly sales analysis, monthly store P&Ls, headcount and productivity analysis to ensure we have the right FTE in our store estate to drive the required level of sales.

Your skillset for performance: You'll hold 5+ years of experience in an analyst, FP&A, or Finance related role and a professional finance qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA). Have excellent working knowledge of excel; creation of spreadsheets, manipulation of data and presenting data in required formats and be proficient in PowerPoint and able to present analysis and findings to stakeholders. With meticulous attention to detail, you'll have the ability to analyse information and explain the 'so what'.
