Role Purpose As a Flight Dispatcher/Turnaround Coordinator you will be responsible for preparing a range of aircrafts and ensuring that the highest level of safety, security and performance is followed as set by our customers and within Menzies. You will be responsible for co-ordination of all activities required to enable the safe, on time departure of aircraft. You will be the primary ground link with the airline Captain and crew and be responsible for load planning relating to passengers, baggage, cargo and fuel. You will work closely with our Ramp and Customer Service teams to ensure that all flight turnarounds are completed in line with procedure. What you will be doing Co-coordinating post arrival and pre-departure activities - always leading from the front. Conduct pre-arrival aircraft briefings with your team. Ensure all paperwork relating to the aircraft turnaround is completed. To comply with all airlines weight & balance documentation and load sheet regulations and to convey the loading instruction to ramp staff. Detailed written reports for delays or any safety incident while in charge of a flight. Safety, Security, WellBeing and Compliance: You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. What we are looking for Experience gained in customer service, Aviation, Ground Handling or similar industry. Good verbal communication skills. Diligent attention to detail. Aptitude for working with a variety of information technology. A full 5 year work/unemployment/education history. Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
