Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare critical project documentation, including the design basis, functional design specifications, and procedures for FAT, SIT, and SAT. Develop design concepts and transform them into detailed designs, covering the entire software development life cycle, including I/O lists, alarm lists, design reports, cause & effect matrices, and FMECA. Work closely with the Purchasing team to support equipment procurement by preparing RFQs and technical specifications. Collaborate with the production team to address design issues and assist in the creation of as-built documentation. Oversee start-up, commissioning, and factory acceptance testing (FAT), while also supporting site commissioning, integration, and acceptance testing (SAT) when required. Prepare final project close-out documentation, including drawing updates, O&M manuals, and spare parts lists. Deliver after-sales service and technical support to clients. Given the international scope of our clients' projects, you may have occasional travel within the UK and globally. You may support commissioning, site integration, site acceptance, and after-sales service activities. Qualifications and Requirements:
A degree in Marine Engineering, Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, or a related Electrical discipline. Demonstrated dedication to technical excellence and innovation in project execution. Full, clean driving license. Willingness and ability to travel internationally on short notice. Offshore BOSIET training. Based in Middlesborough, with the chance to contribute to international projects.
