Business Line Manager – Air and Gas Applications (AGA) The Air and Gas Applications division, a new sector within the Compressor Technique Business Area, is responsible for product development, sourcing, production, marketing, sales, and technical support for on-site gas generation and purification, as well as high- and low-pressure compressors. As the

Business Line Manager , you will lead teams and manage resources to drive the growth and profitability of the AGG, OHP, GPP, and OLP business lines. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies aligned with corporate objectives. Identify growth opportunities, create actionable plans, and oversee their execution to expand market presence and increase revenue. You will continuously analyse market trends and adjust strategies to remain competitive. Financial Management:

Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor financial performance to ensure the business lines achieve their profitability targets. This involves preparing detailed financial reports, conducting performance analyses, and making data-driven decisions to optimize profit margins and drive sustainable growth. Product and Service Development:

Oversee product lifecycle management, from conception through market introduction and continuous improvement. Conduct market research to understand customer needs and ensure product offerings meet or exceed expectations. Work closely with R&D and marketing teams to introduce innovative solutions that enhance the company’s market position. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. This includes managing contract negotiations, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring satisfaction. Your role will be pivotal in fostering long-term client loyalty and securing repeat business through exceptional service delivery. Operational Excellence:

Lead the daily operations of the business lines, ensuring that all processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with strategic goals. Identify areas for process improvement, implement best practices, and ensure that operational standards meet or exceed industry benchmarks. Team Leadership and Development:

Inspire, motivate, and develop your team to achieve business objectives. This involves recruiting top talent, providing continuous training and development opportunities, setting performance expectations, and conducting regular evaluations. Foster a collaborative culture that encourages innovation and accountability. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, including marketing, sales, operations, and finance, to ensure cohesive efforts towards common goals. Facilitate cross-departmental projects and initiatives that drive business success and organizational efficiency. Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure all business activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests and reputation. What You'll Need To Succeed: Strong strategic and execution skills. Experience in growing business lines organically and inorganically. Degree in Engineering (Mining, Industry, Mechanics) or equivalent. Advanced proficiency in English. Preferred: MBA or experience in Business Management, Marketing, or Finance. Industry-specific experience with High Pressure, Low Pressure, or Industrial Gases. Strong application knowledge or the ability to quickly learn HP, LP, and IG applications.
