Hours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday Creating and maintaining great places to live and work delivered by excellent people who care… Purpose of Role We are seeking a diligent and proactive Mobile PPM Technician to join our team, supporting a new project focused on preventive maintenance (PPM) of fire safety assets across the TfL office estate. Job Description This role will be essential in ensuring that fire alarms, fire blankets, fire doors, and other vital fire safety components are maintained to the highest standards, enhancing safety across the network. The successful candidate would be expected to pick other general building maintenance jobs and therefore a general maintenance background is essential. Responsibilities Perform scheduled PPM tasks on fire assets including fire alarms, fire blankets, and fire doors across various locations within the TfL estate. Ensure all work complies with fire safety standards and regulations. Conduct inspections, identify potential risks, and address maintenance needs promptly. Keep accurate records of completed tasks and report any urgent repairs or replacements required. Communicate effectively with the management team and TfL staff to ensure smooth coordination and reporting. Essential Qualifications/Skills Relevant experience in fire safety or PPM maintenance. Strong knowledge of fire safety standards and maintenance best practices. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently across multiple locations on foot. Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards. Willingness to work flexibly across the TfL estate, without the need for a company vehicle.
