We're seeking a skilled CMM Inspector to ensure exceptional quality in our high-precision manufacturing process.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive first-off, interim, and batch inspections of machined components
Select appropriate CMM probes and attachments for accurate measurements
Develop precise fixturing requirements and generate clear inspection reports
Analyse CMM data, identifying and communicating any non-conforming features
Perform critical "customer eyes" visual inspections
Optimise CMM programs to balance efficiency and measurement integrity
Experience:
Proficient in PCDMIS and Calypso software
Advanced skills in interpreting complex engineering drawings
Extensive experience with diverse measurement techniques (CMM, vision CMM, Shadow Graph)
Ability to create detailed inspection instructions and control plans
Skills:
Logical problem-solver with meticulous attention to detail
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to meet demanding customer and internal timelines
Must haves:
Full-time, permanent role
Monday to Friday schedule
Must be able to commute to/relocate to Glasgow
UK work authorisation and driving licence required
