Expleo have an exciting opportunity for experienced Stress Engineers / Analysts. Based in Expleo offices, you will be assigned to a major new defence project, where your skills and experience in Structural Analysis / FEA will be fully utilized. Responsibilities
Responsibilities within your role will include (but not limited to): Interfacing with UK based Team to understand technical issues / specifications and requirements. Undertaking Finite Element Analysis Simulations using Abaqus CAE of marine structural seats / brackets / bolts. Work with the customer to determine solutions for failed simulations. Writing Analysis reports. Producing quality while keeping within project budgets & time constraints and potentially changing requirements. Apply correct processes, specifications procedures & techniques working with support from specialist teams. Qualifications
HNC/HND in mechanical engineering. Degree in mechanical engineering. Essential skills
FEA Modelling. Abaqus CAE. MathCAD (beneficial but not essential). Microsoft Office Skills. Experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in stress analysis. Marine engineering desirable. Benefits
