Mechanical Supervisor

to join our team. This role involves taking ownership of an engineering shift, ensuring smooth operations and supporting the Engineering Manager in driving departmental success. Key Responsibilities: Oversee shift operations, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety protocols. Conduct regular audits and ensure adherence to risk assessments and safe working practices. Foster effective communication among team members, shifts, and departments. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including LEAN principles, to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. Develop team skills through training plans and multi-skilling initiatives. Manage preventative and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring effective handovers and precise documentation. About You: Proven grounding in Industrial Mechanical Engineering with a strong focus on Health & Safety. Experience with hydraulic systems, heavy-duty machinery maintenance, and PPM schedules. Competent in e-maintenance systems and general computer proficiency. Strong supervisory and management skills, capable of leading a team effectively. Reliable, honest, and a good communicator with both verbal and written skills. Qualifications: HNC/HND/C&G or equivalent in Engineering. Experience in a production environment, working under pressure safely and efficiently. What We Offer: Salary: Up to £51,450.
