Basic Salary:

c£40,000 - £42,000 (Expected minimum OTE c£50,000) Package:

Overtime (1.5x / 2x) + Company Vehicle + Pension + Life Assurance x4 + Full Machinery Specific Training.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Owing to significant demand for their machinery, a technically orientated engineering business is seeking a Mechanically Biased Field Service Engineer to join their experienced team. This role involves travelling to client sites across the UK to install, commission, repair, and maintain their broad range of engineering machinery.

You may already be working in a Field Service Engineering capacity and are looking for a fresh challenge, or you could be a static Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for your first 'on the road' role; both backgrounds are of interest to this business. Full 'machinery specific' training is provided, allowing significant routes for skill development and technical advancement.

Role Description:

Carrying out installations, servicing, repairs, and commissioning of equipment on customer sites on a national and worldwide basis. Utilising predominantly mechanical skills; undertaking fault finding and attending breakdowns. Advising customers on the best solutions to ensure machinery is working at optimum capacity. Consulting with the service manager on technical issues and ensuring updates are provided. Home based and travelling on a UK wide basis. Reporting into the Service Manager.

Skills & Experience: Field Service Engineering or Maintenance Engineering background. Mechanically Biased Engineer with industrial machinery engineering experience. Ability to read mechanical drawings. Willing to travel / stay away as required on a UK wide basis. Strong customer service and communication skills.
