Engaging with various stakeholders, the Group Manager is accountable for leading stores to meet key objectives and embed our purpose, values and ways of working to ensure a customer and team 1st culture built on solid foundations. You will provide support to the zone and state teams to deliver the company and zone strategy by guiding, coaching, influencing and motivating a team of Store Managers and 1200 team members. You will be an integral part of implementing and creating a group strategy to ensure delivery of the company vision while identifying and developing talent to build a pipeline for the future within the wider zone. What you will do Lead, manage and support Store Managers and their team to drive team engagement within the group Create and support initiatives that drive a Customer First culture within the group Lead through change initiatives and be open to Agile / different ways of working Build and develop self-sufficiency and capability within the group Implement the State Business Plan within the Zone to ensure delivery of the Supermarket strategy Set and deliver high operational standards for the Group across merchandising, on-shelf availability, food quality, safety & RTW, VOC & VOT and the minimization of loss What you’ll bring Retail leadership experience, multi-site exposure Experience leading and embedding change and the ability to prioritise Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, negotiation and influencing skills A strategic mind and the ability to see the bigger picture to align our store priorities to support achieving them The ability to translate data or analytics into real-time information that supports robust decision-making What you'll experience An attractive remuneration package including base + superannuation + ToT Opportunity to join an engaging team Flexibility and work-life balance policies that will help you thrive An exciting career - as our business grows, so do the opportunities for our people!
