Senior Support Worker - Brand New Children's Home in Melksham Salary: £27,456 plus £65 sleep in, average of 10 per month Our client is expanding and is looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join the team at a brand-new Residential Children's Home in Melksham. This role is perfect for someone passionate about making a difference in young people's lives and ready to take on a leadership position. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be integral to maintaining the high-quality reputation of one of the UK's leading providers of specialist care. You will assist in leading a team dedicated to providing specialist residential care, therapy, and education for young people with complex needs. Working closely with the Deputy Manager and the Senior Leadership Team, you will help create a safe and nurturing environment for young people, ensuring a genuinely therapeutic approach. This rewarding role involves supporting the Deputy Manager with various responsibilities, including supervising staff, ensuring quality care, and liaising with external stakeholders. You will help ensure compliance with legislation and support the management of a team of Support Workers. About You: Hold a Level 3 qualification in children and young people's workforce or equivalent Knowledge of Ofsted standards and regulations. Driven to work holistically with other professionals to ensure young people reach their full potential and have the best life chances. Must be a driver Passionate and enthusiastic about helping young people. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to negotiate, influence, and exercise emotional intelligence.
