SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs)

to join primary schools in Hillingdon. This fulfilling role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners with special educational needs.

Role Details:

Positions available on both full-time and part-time basis Prior experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting Based in Hillingdon, London Competitive pay: 85 - 105 per day Enhanced DBS certificate required (or willingness to obtain one before starting)

Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to SEN students within the classroom Assist the class teacher in delivering and adapting lessons to meet individual needs Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress Create and customize learning resources to suit diverse student needs Foster positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional well-being among students Collaborate with the SENCO and external professionals to develop and implement effective strategies As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a nurturing and inclusive environment where children with SEN can succeed. Your patience, empathy, and understanding of their unique needs, combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills, will help create a positive impact on their educational journey.
