Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working alongside an AJ100 company in their regional office in Nottingham, seeking to appoint an Architect to their growing team.

The Practice The practice are one Nottingham's leading practices, and are prominent across the UK with offices in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and internationally. They are long established having been in operation for over 100 years, in which time they have developed a stellar reputation in a variety of sectors. The practice boast an enviable client portfolio, with projects completed and ongoing in areas such as Retail, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Residential, Student Living and more.

Due to a continued increase in workload alongside the desire to grow the Nottingham office further, the practice are now seeking to appoint an Architect to the team.

The Role - Architect The role on offer is for an Architect with approximately 1-3 years of post qualification experience, ideally with Retail sector experience in your background. Given the fast paced nature of the sector you will be working in, that Retail experience is desirable so that you can hit the ground running upon starting with the company. However, Architects without Retail experience, but with a broad sector variance will also be considered.

The position will see you naturally moving into a job running position, so the role will require an Architect that is happy being a focal point for clients & 3rd party contractors, along with potentially leading a small team on occasion. There is plenty of scope for growth in this position, with the Architect being able to progress through the ranks in the office.

The practice used AutoCAD predominantly and also use Revit on occasion. AutoCAD is definitely the dominant software package in the Retail sector within the business, so experience using the software package is pretty much essential for this position.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required Architect with approx. 1-3 years of post qualification experience. UK recognised qualifications at Part 1, 2 and 3 level. ARB registration & RIBA accredited (desirable) Retail sector experience is favourable, with the added benefit of a varied background in other sectors. Job running experience would be looked upon favourably. Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD is essential, along with the added benefit of Revit experience.

In return, the Architect will be offered a salary in the region of £36,000-£42,000 per annum, alongside a competitive benefits package. In the first instance, new employees would be required to be in the office full time, but after the initial 3-6 months working from home a couple of days a week will be discussed.

How to Apply To apply to this position as an Architect, please forward your up to date CV & portfolio through to Ashley Johnson at Conrad Consulting. Alternatively, contact Ashley on (phone number removed) for a confidential discussion.
