Job Description Act as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Handle patient queries and concerns promptly and professionally. Evaluate billings and insurance eligibility, and file claims. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow within the department. Manage patient records and maintain their confidentiality in accordance with GDPR regulations. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient files. Assist in the implementation of patient feedback for service improvements. Ensure compliance with the hospital's policies and procedures. Participate in relevant training and development activities to improve patient services. The Successful Applicant A successful Patient Liaison Officer should have: A strong background in a patient-facing role within the healthcare industry. Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. A good understanding of medical terminology and patient confidentiality guidelines. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using medical software and databases.
