Senior Quantity Surveyor - Diverse Range of Projects Bristol or Birmingham An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established property and planning consultancy with a national presence. Established in 1951, this firm delivers expert cost management services across various sectors, providing value-added solutions to clients throughout the UK. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will manage project costs from inception to completion, offering strategic advice and ensuring successful delivery. The company fosters a collaborative environment where professionals can thrive and contribute to ongoing success. Key Responsibilities: Managing cost planning, procurement strategies, and contract administration. Preparing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and tender documents. Building strong client relationships and ensuring excellent service delivery. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Mentoring junior team members and supporting department growth. Key Requirements: 3-4 years PGE in quantity surveying, ideally within a consultancy. Ideally MRICS qualified or working towards it. Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts. Working knowledge and experience of using BCIS preferable. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
