The school is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced PE Teacher for a temporary position starting from the Easter term through the Summer term, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. The successful PE Teacher will join a well-resourced PE Department comprising experienced, enthusiastic, and engaging teachers. The role involves delivering high-quality PE lessons across various key stages, contributing to the department's extracurricular activities, and supporting students' physical development and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated PE lessons to students across different age groups. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development. Contribute to the organisation and supervision of extracurricular sports activities and events. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective schemes of work and departmental policies. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and respect. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Physical Education. Proven experience teaching PE at secondary school level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.
