Corporate Account Manager
is responsible for the commercial relationship between Biffa and its corporate clients in the Food and Superstores sector. The role will cover strategic growth and development in the sector, in addition to managing financial performance, contractual negotiations, meeting the relevant KPI’s and SLA’s, compliance, customer satisfaction, retention, and execution of the strategic account plans and innovative solutions. Core Responsibilities Develop and manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring strategic plans, service success, contract compliance, retention, and pricing negotiations. Retain corporate clients through positive relationships and service growth to achieve budgeted revenue. Manage tender, benchmarking, and RFI processes; identify new development opportunities for profitable growth. Attend customer reviews, present management information, and advise on waste management programs. Conduct site audits, analyse data, and create action plans for clients. Build multi-level relationships to enhance customer confidence. Identify new business opportunities within clients' businesses to add value. Maintain customer debt positions in line with contracts. Engage at all levels for negotiation, influencing, and communication to benefit all parties. Apply commercial and financial principles to issues of costs, profits, markets, and added value. Develop joint strategies to support clients' CSR objectives. Our Essential Requirements Previous experience in a large-scale account management environment. Confident with all Microsoft Applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Resilient with the ability to work effectively under pressure and to targets. Well organised with the ability to prioritise effectively. Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels. Self-motivated with a flexible 'can do' attitude.
