This Operations Director role will lead the company’s long-term strategic relationship and develop long-term plans managing the best fresh produce varieties all year round, resulting in an industry-leading service and efficient fresh food supply chain. You will lead the operational team across a multi-sited operation and represent the business at all times.
With a passion for success and productivity, to accompany a positive leadership approach, the successful Operations Director will be an imperative part of the companies multi-sited operational leadership team. This position is newly created, offering an individual the opportunity to take the role and site with both hands, to make it their mission and goal to improve efficiencies, site culture, staff motivation, and company position within the sector.
We require:
Able to demonstrate a successful career within a Senior Operational capacity across multiple sites. Previous experience and a thorough understanding of FMCG / Fresh Produce supply to Retail, Foodservice, and Wholesale customers is essential, with knowledge of the challenges involved with quality, availability, production, and delivery within a demanding category. Exemplary professionalism and integrity. Excellent communication and management skills with a confident, professional, and commercial approach is paramount to relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal contacts at all levels. This is an opportunity that will enable an individual to play an integral role in driving a successful business forward and has the capacity to offer genuine long-term career opportunities to an ambitious, astute individual.
