Head of Access to HE . This is an exciting opportunity to lead the strategic development and management of the Access to HE team, policies, and processes within the Skills and Education Group. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Access to HE provision, ensuring the effective and efficient implementation of all related procedures, processes, and policies. Provide strong leadership to the Access to HE team, driving performance, development, and continuous improvement. Oversee the development and coordination of the Access to HE strategy alongside senior leadership, ensuring alignment with the broader objectives of the Skills and Education Group. Offer expert advice and guidance to the Senior Leadership Team on Access to HE opportunities, policies, and procedures. Serve as the senior contact (Responsible Officer) for the Access Validating Agency in all matters related to Access to HE, ensuring compliance with national standards and regulations. Key Requirements: Proven experience in managing Access to HE within an awarding organisation or a similar environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Deep understanding of Access to HE policies, procedures, and best practices. Experience in strategic planning and the ability to advise senior leadership effectively. In-depth knowledge of the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) requirements and experience in managing QAA relationships. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
