About the role We’re looking for a PR &Comms Director to join our growth team. The job As the PR & Communications Director at Coolr, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing a comprehensive PR, marketing, and social media strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and growth. Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy

to enhance Coolr’s brand, media presence, and industry recognition, aligning with overall business goals and strategic vision. Build and manage media relationships , securing coverage in key outlets and positioning the agency as an industry thought leader. Manage key PR contacts across trade publications, marketing, advertising, and social media outlets, cultivating long-term relationships and securing high-quality PR coverage in industry press. Act as brand guardian , ensuring consistent tone of voice, aligning communications with company values, and managing Coolr’s overall brand identity across PR, marketing, and content initiatives. Oversee event planning and execution , including owned events (e.g., webinars, roundtables) and securing speaking opportunities at third-party conferences and panels. Create and manage press materials , including press releases, media kits, and content to support agency messaging and PR campaigns. Track and report on PR KPIs and ROI , evaluating the success of campaigns, media coverage, and event participation Drive award strategy , identifying and managing award submissions to secure industry accolades and recognition. You will be writing and submitting award entries and supporting us in celebrating Coolr's achievements to enhance brand visibility and industry recognition. What we are looking for Whilst we appreciate, you’re not just your CV and skills are transferable, these are some of the skills and experiences we think would set you up for success in this role: Proven experience (5+ years) in public relations, with a strong track record in PR for agencies, media outlets, or brands in the creative or social media space. A deep network of media contacts within the PR, social media, and digital industries. Strong event management experience, including the ability to plan and execute high-profile events and secure speaking opportunities for senior leadership. Experience managing award submissions and securing industry recognition. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press materials and handle media inquiries with professionalism. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. A proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for building and maintaining relationships with the media, influencers, and industry stakeholders. A creative thinker who is not afraid to challenge the status quo and bring fresh ideas to the table. Passion for the social media and digital marketing landscape, with a clear understanding of how PR can be leveraged to amplify brand presence and reputation.
