Wednesday 12th February Job overview: We are seeking a Fundraising Manager to provide specialist fundraising support for Serious Trust, with a focus on securing funding from Trusts and Foundations, stewarding relationships with donors, managing the Serious Trust, and delivering a targeted campaign for the 20th anniversary of TakeFive. We are looking for a proactive, experienced fundraiser with a strong background in arts fundraising who can easily step into the role and quickly understand who we are, what we do, and our unique approach to supporting artists and audiences in the music sector. The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, ensuring seamless continuity in our fundraising efforts. This role will require two days per week working in the office in Hackney, with one day remote. Attendance at in-person meetings and events with Trustees and donors will also be expected as part of the role. The role will involve working on EFG London Jazz Festival in November 2025, and events could fall on weekend days. The Fundraising Manager works as part of the Fundraising Team, usually headed by the Head of Fundraising. During the Head of Fundraising’s maternity leave, we are looking for an experienced freelance fundraiser who can comfortably work at Manager level and report to Director Ope Igbinyemi, keeping on top of all administration and fundraising strategy for the Serious Trust.
