Working at our site on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland as Maintenance Engineering Manager your responsibilities will include: Ensure that all Utilities and Engineering activities on site are carried out in accordance with the Company requirements, UK Statutory regulations, and relevant engineering standards. Manage utilities operations to provide steam, water and air, to enable all site operations to operate efficiently and to planned availability & performance targets, ensuring effective training and development of staff with respect to utilities operations. Develop and implement strategies to ensure the best balance between maintenance and capital expenditure, providing site equipment reliability and performance to meet planned production levels and within cost budgets. Through this, manage all the internal and external engineering resource on site, ensuring effective training and development of the engineering team. Develop and implement maintenance processes that ensure the efficient resource management. Manage asset condition, availability and performance at target levels through effective maintenance strategies, performance monitoring, bad actor management and utility efficiency. Provide effective technical support to operations and maintenance teams to ensure that operational targets are achieved at all times. WHAT YOU OFFER

QUALIFICATIONS: SCQF Level 10 Degree in Process/E&I/Mechanical Engineering (Preferably Electrical). 10 years’ experience in operational management in chemical industry (min. 5 years in engineering management). 3 years’ experience in procurement of contractor services, and technical goods with a strong knowledge of utilities operations. Strong leadership skills with proven communication and networking skills. WHAT WE OFFER
