- Role will also involve some travel to other sites. Salary:
Negotiable + Fantastic Benefits package. Responsibilities: Manage transportation, fleet operations, and logistics across our five-site operations in the UK, Ireland, and mainland Europe to ensure efficient, effective, and timely delivery. Oversee and optimise our entire logistics network related to collections and redeployments, shredding operations, shipments, and on-site services. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve logistics performance. Direct and monitor the day-to-day activities of the transportation and logistics team, including drivers, through your Logistics Manager and Team Leaders. Provide leadership and direction to the transportation and logistics team, including training, development, and performance management. Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party carriers, suppliers, and other partners to ensure reliable transportation services. Be designated as the Transport Manager on our Operator's License and ensure the license is in place. Ensure compliance with all relevant transport laws and regulations. The Ideal Person: CPC Qualified Recent experience of being designated as a transport manager on an Operators Licence for multiple vehicles. Proven experience managing transportation and logistics operations, ideally in a multi-site, international environment.
