Asset Management Team . You will join us on a
full-time, fixed term contract for 1 year to cover maternity leave . The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary of £33,366 - £37,035. This is an exciting opportunity to join Tewkesbury Borough Council working with the Asset Management Team in delivering timely and cost-effective facilities management of the council's public buildings and small residential property portfolio, ensuring that all statutory obligations are met. You will action responsive maintenance and manage contracts for programmed maintenance. Additionally, you will work with partners, customers, and contractors to develop and maintain good working relationships. You will also contribute to the development of the council's asset management plans in line with the asset management service plan. Some of the duties for this role will be: To aid the formulation and delivery of the Council’s Asset Management Policies, Strategies and Plans. To support the delivery of an effective, professional, financially sound, and responsive property service. To develop and deliver the Council’s asset management program to ensure the Council’s assets are maintained and presented to a high standard. About you: A good understanding of Building Management legislation (evidence of training attended). A good understanding of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations (evidence of training attended). 2 years Commercial Facilities Management experience. A good understanding of residential property management. Ideally, you will have experience of undertaking project work. IT literate and excellent communication skills. A team player.
