The Role: We are seeking a meticulous and technically skilled Digital Technician and File Manager to join our visual content team. In this role, you will be responsible for adjusting and managing colour in post-production, ensuring that the final imagery aligns with the brand’s vision and standards.You will work closely with the Retouching team to maintain best practices for transfer of files for seamless execution of photographic assets from capture to post-production. Additionally, you will manage the organization and integration of digital files into our workflow, particularly those captured during offsite shoots and processing files from an external freelance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Colour Grading/Management: Using capture one to apply appropriate colour grading to enhance the mood and tone of photoshoots, ensuring that the images align with the desired creative direction. Adjust and perfect colours on photoshoot imagery to ensure consistency with brand guidelines, product samples, and overall aesthetic. Maintaining consistency in lighting across different sets and products. Ensuring to

work with the retouching team/photographers to enhance the quality of images used across marketing materials, look-books, and social media. Colour Proofing/ Consistency Across Mediums: Review final images to ensure the same colour quality, appearance and colour accuracy before distribution across different formats (digital, print) and platforms (website, social media, e-commerce). Lighting: Provide input on lighting and colour during photoshoots when required to achieve the best results in post-production. File Management: Handle the naming and organising of digital files, ensuring they adhere to established naming conventions. Managing the integration of offsite shoot files into the studio's digital asset management system. Ensuring the efficient storage, retrieval, and backup of digital assets. Trend Awareness: Stay updated on digital photography, file management techniques and industry colour trends/technologies. Skills and Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in post-production, with at least 3 years focused on digital tech/ colour grading, preferably within the fashion industry. Experience in model/garment retouching is beneficial but not essential. Technical Expertise:

In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with - advanced software (e.g., Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom) for colour correction, enhancement, management principles and techniques. Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present ideas and strategies to stakeholders at all levels. Organisation:

Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multitask throughout the day, working on various projects simultaneously Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Digital Media, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in related areas are a plus.
