Protocol Education are currently looking to employ an enthusiastic and driven Computer Science/Media Teacher to work in an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in a village on the outskirts of Sheffield. The school is a welcoming and inclusive environment where teachers deliver an ambitious curriculum and pupils enjoy their learning. They are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with children aged 11-16 and looking for their next role in teaching. This role is full time and is required for a start asap and will run through until the summer.

Your role will include being responsible for planning and delivering inspirational computer science lessons that engage all students in their learning, managing behaviour in the classroom and around the school and marking students work and communicating with parents/carers about their child's progress. You will also be responsible for managing/directing any teaching assistants and ensuring you are always following safeguarding procedures.

The successful candidate will:

Have experience within a teaching setting and strong knowledge on KS3/KS4 curriculum Have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent Have a passion for young children's education and shaping their future Have excellent command of the classroom, high expectations and the expertise to effectively manage behaviour Engage all students through the delivery of lessons in a creative, vibrant and interactive style Knowledge of iMedia and Adobe Photoshop would be advantageous.

The role may include occasionally providing general cover. You will be required to provide a minimum of two references (covering a minimum of 2 years employment) and will have the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. This role would be appropriate for ETC's or experienced teachers.
