Full Time & Long term role Hays Education are working with an Ofsted ‘Good’ coeducational secondary school with academy status, located in Leicester. The school caters for students aged between 11–16. They are looking for a full-time qualified English Teacher to teach across Key Stage 3 and 4. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that cover the curriculum. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of the department and participate in extracurricular activities.
Job Description Delivering engaging and creative English lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Planning and preparing schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback. Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum. Participating in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs and school trips. Person Specification Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in English or related field. Recent experience teaching English at secondary school level. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
