Hays' client is a major public sector organisation in Edinburgh. The client is looking for a Business Analyst to join ongoing product improvement initiatives and the development and delivery of a new Case Management System.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with Associate Product Managers, Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders to meet key project milestones. Enhance existing workflows and develop new ones within the Case Management system. Use techniques such as Business Canvas Modelling, Value Proposition Design, or Wardley mapping. Implement prioritisation methods like cost of delay or similar. Develop conceptual wireframes. Ensure adherence to government digital standards. Apply methodologies such as Lean UX, Six Sigma, or system thinking. Perform process and data simulation modelling.
What you'll need to succeed: Proven background working as a Business Analyst, ideally for public sector clients. Experience of Continuous Improvement delivery and Product development. Experience of developing and/or delivering Case Management Systems would be a distinct advantage. Understanding of government digital standards. Ability to create conceptual wireframes. Skills in process and data simulation modelling. Formal qualification with IIBA or a similar organisation would be an advantage.
