£35000 - £40000 per annum + Annual Bonus & Career Progression My Client is seeking a proactive and dedicated Transport Manager who is computer literate and possesses outstanding communication skills. The ideal candidate will hold a Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) qualification and have a strong background in transport management and compliance. Reporting directly to the Compliance Director, the Transport Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that all operations adhere to Road Transport Legislation, DVSA Earned Recognition requirements, and the Operator’s Licence obligations. This position requires conducting depot compliance audits, leading investigations in case of incidents, and maintaining exemplary compliance levels throughout the company. Main Responsibilities: DVSA Earned Recognition:

Assist in maintaining the DVSA Earned Recognition status through meticulous compliance and operational oversight. Operator’s Licence Compliance:

Ensure all operations are in accordance with current Operator’s Licence obligations. Driver Management:

Oversee that drivers download their Digital Cards as per Company Policy, enforce Drivers Hours and Working Time Directives, and handle any tachograph infringements. Analyse trends and identify training needs. Data Analysis:

Responsible for analysing data from Driver Digital tachocard downloads and vehicle data, reporting findings and trends to improve operational efficiency. Incident Handling:

Ensure accurate recording of accidents, incidents, and near misses in line with company procedures. Analyse incident data to identify trends and training opportunities. Vehicle Compliance:

Liaise with the Fleet Manager to ensure all vehicles are operated legally and safely. Cover for the Fleet Manager in their absence. Risk Management:

Conduct risk assessments as necessary to mitigate risks associated with transport operations. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in transport management and compliance. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Hours:
