Our service portfolio includes mental health, intellectual disability and specialist mental health services, community physical health, prison health and our low, medium, and high secure hospitals including Rampton Hospital. Our services are provided by more than 9,500 staff in hospitals, community settings and patients' own homes, predominantly in Nottinghamshire but services are also provided in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, and Leicestershire. Main duties of the job

We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic individual to lead the Forensic Care Groups as Care Group Director within Nottinghamshire Healthcare initially supporting and working directly with our Chief Operating Officer. In this pivotal role, you will be expected to embrace the changes in the delivery of healthcare and to champion leading in line with our values, always demonstrating compassionate and inclusive leadership. To be successful in this role you will need experience of delivery of high quality and safe clinical services. The role will be accountable for the coordination and delivery of operational services within the Care Group. You must have successfully led large multi-disciplinary teams and have significant experience in managing complex stakeholder relationships either within NHS organisations, local government, community, and voluntary sector or the private sector. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the successful candidate will have integrity and enthusiasm and be committed to championing our values, while always demonstrating inclusive leadership. Qualifications

Educated to Master's Degree level or relevant equivalent experience supplemented by further specialist training, research or study. Relevant professional qualification in leadership. Evidence of ongoing professional development, particularly in leadership and/or strategy. Experience

Significant and senior level experience of NHS, social care, local authorities and more broadly across the government, private and voluntary sector providers. Experience and expertise in working in the relevant clinical area i.e Community Services, Mental Health, and Forensics. Demonstrable track record of achievement in leading and implementing change in a large-scale complex organisation. Significant experience of service transformation, care pathways and new models of care. Experience of involving service users and carers in service redesign and improvement. Significant experience of managing and motivating diverse and multi-professional teams, transforming cultures. Experience of negotiating contracts. Experience of working in partnership with other NHS Trusts / primary care services / voluntary sector. Experience in the management of large budgets. Skills and knowledge

Highly developed analytical, political and judgment skills alongside excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills. A working knowledge and understanding of present health policy in relation to services provided by the Trust and expectations of stakeholders. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
