Key job responsibilities Collect data and feedback on the individual development process (i.e., rapid develop/test loops before code review) Own the definition and customer validation of RBKS-wide development tools that improve the software development workflow Collaborate with development teams to align on tool improvements, priority, and delivery timeline Work directly with software teams as customers to ensure their success A day in the life Your day begins with a surge of excitement as you power up your workstation. You start by reviewing the latest user feedback on your team's newest development tool, noting areas for improvement. Next, you're whisked into a brainstorming session with stakeholders, where you passionately present your vision for streamlining the code review process. After lunch, you dive into data analysis, uncovering fascinating patterns in developer workflows that spark ideas for your next big innovation. The afternoon flies by as you collaborate with a cross-functional team, aligning priorities for an upcoming CI/CD pipeline upgrade. Your day culminates in a series of one-on-one meetings with software teams, where you listen intently to their challenges and strategize solutions on the spot. As you wrap up, you can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment, knowing that your work today has paved the way for countless developers to create amazing software more efficiently tomorrow. About the team Our mission is to enhance the developer experience at RBKS, enabling engineers to create outstanding products and features for our customers. We provide tools, data, and infrastructure that will reduce the time to get code from developers to customer devices whilst ensuring operational excellence, by reducing friction during coding and providing greater device health visibility. Our vision is to develop a suite of tools that seamlessly integrate across the entire development lifecycle, from desktop to production. These tools will enable pre-hardware development and a smooth transition to on-device testing. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in developer tools or platforms Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proven ability to gather and analyze user feedback and data Experience in defining product vision and strategy Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and development workflows Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in Computer Science, MBA, or related field 7+ years of experience in product management for developer tools or platforms Hands-on experience as a software developer or engineer Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles Track record of successfully launching and scaling developer-focused products Experience with data analytics and A/B testing Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
