Description and Requirements Job Description The Senior Manager of Product Compliance for the EMEA & APAC regions will assume responsibility ensuring Motorola products meet all applicable regulatory requirements and safety measures for products shipped to EMEA and APAC markets. Focus will be on driving Motorola growth in emerging markets through the early identification of regulatory barriers and working directly with product development and business leaders to define solutions that deliver compliant products on time according to planned schedules. Key Responsibilities Lead regulatory support areas to ensure compliance with international regulations. Provide critical assessment of current and upcoming regulatory and compliance environments to enable proactive and timely business response for product introductions. Collaborate with the development and business teams to coordinate critical projects by monitoring regulatory activities, milestones and outcomes, facilitating cross-functional communications and addressing issues. Ensure the delivery, effectiveness and completeness of all documentation necessary to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements for EMEA & APAC markets. Develop policy and guidance related to the proper application of regulatory requirements and safety measures necessary for product compliance. Support final product review and approval for ship authorization to planned markets. Ensure on-going compliance with regulatory requirements is maintained by monitoring post launch product changes or necessary application of new legal requirements. Address requests from Regulatory bodies, customers or business teams that are related to regulatory compliance or product safety matters. Work directly with the Motorola Director of Regulatory Compliance and Motorola Head of Regulatory Affairs and Legal teams to develop technical response to any critical matters of compliance. Assume SME role of EU Regulatory Testing requirements covering several facets of Smartphone and radio design advising engineering on a routine basis. Required Skills 10+ years experience in test and certification of mobile devices. In depth knowledge of the EU (CE) and UKCA regulatory schemes including the Radio Equipment Directive and UK Radio Law. Open mindset with strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Flexibility to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams in a global business environment. Self-motivated in pursuit of continuous learning in the field of compliance engineering and new technologies. Easily navigates activity in a highly fluid and dynamic organization - strong organizational skills. The ideal candidate will possess the following preferred qualifications: Knowledge of networking and security practices. Ability to work under deadlines. Problem solving and critical thinking skills. A proven track record for developing value propositions around technology, with strong presentation skills for both external and internal engagements.
