37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year permanent £33,085 - £35,045 pa As Funding & Compliance Officer, you'll step into a crucial role within an efficient and friendly department where your work will have a massive impact on the college's finances and data quality. You'll be recognised for the top-down effect the role carries and be provided with the support needed to efficiently do your job. In addition to managing the preparation of all external funding, data returns and claims, you'll work closely with the wider Registry team to explore ways of ensuring and maintaining data quality and improving practices as well as being the 'face' of funding college-wide. We're open-minded & welcome all applicants who believe they can succeed. Though ideally, you will: Keen to develop knowledge of further education funding models Be inquisitive and able to work independently and as part of a team Able to understand and implement audit requirements into processes Hold excellent data analysis skills & data interrogation skills Have an understanding and passion for education Be able to communicate complex data-related concepts to non-specialists Be excited to bring fresh ideas to the table and help us constantly improve Closing date: Thursday 6 February 2025 at midnight As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service.
