Your new company Hays Technology are recruiting an Application Support Analyst to join a growing public sector organisation in the Sheffield area. You will be working within the IT Systems Team reporting to the Business Analyst Manager.

Your new role In your new role, you will be implementing and supporting a wide variety of applications and systems across the organisation, whilst handling incidents and problems across 3rd party applications such as Student Record System Tribal EBS, Finance, Human Resources, and Customer Relationship Management systems. You will also be supporting applications developed in-house and will need to support new applications and tools as the business environment changes over time. You will be analysing user requirements and introducing, supporting, and developing the various administrative, information, and business systems, whilst project planning and management for the introduction and development of software and services. You will be providing technical advice and support to users for the organisation’s administrative, information and business systems.

What you'll need to succeed Supporting and maintaining Microsoft or similar enterprise standard databases Application support experience across various applications Tribal EBS or similar systems would be ideal. Microsoft SQL Server all versions, both designing and writing TSQL Microsoft Web Servers and Services Practical knowledge of using, maintaining and diagnosing problems with Windows server operating systems Excellent communication skills are required.
