Microsoft Practice PURPOSE OF JOB:

As a Microsoft Unified Communications Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales of Microsoft Teams and Ring Central, two of the leading platforms for online meetings, calls, chat, and file sharing. You will work with customers from various industries and sizes, understanding their needs and challenges, and presenting them with the best solutions to enhance their productivity and efficiency. You will also collaborate with other sales teams, technical experts, and partners to ensure a smooth and successful sales cycle. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Generate leads and qualify prospects for Teams, Ring Central, and our associated services and workshops. Drive upsell from Office 365 / Microsoft 365 E3 to Microsoft E5. Work with the account management team to create and execute account plans and sales strategies that target the decision-makers and influencers within the customer's organization. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to customers and stakeholders, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of Microsoft Teams and Ring Central and how they can solve their specific problems and use cases. Negotiate and close deals with customers, ensuring that they receive the best value and service from Microsoft. Engage with the Modern Workplace specialists at Microsoft to Co-Sell. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention by providing ongoing support, education, and advocacy for Microsoft Teams. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments. INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain a high level of expertise in the field of Teams & UC. Meet or exceed sales targets. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions. Provide regular reports to management on sales activities and progress. Attend training sessions and conferences to stay up to date with product developments. WIDER TEAM NETWORK: Internal: Commercial Executives Account Management teams Microsoft Practice Managers External: Microsoft Commercial Executives Microsoft Account Managers QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Educational Qualifications: ESSENTIAL: GCSE grades A*-C or equivalent in English and Mathematics DESIRABLE: GCSE grades A*-C or equivalent in ICT or Business Studies Professional Qualifications: DESIRABLE: Microsoft Compliance, Security & Identity Fundamentals Years of Experience: At least 3 years of experience in selling Microsoft's products and solutions, preferably in the cloud and unified comms domain, or a proven track record of selling complex and innovative technology solutions to customers. Other Requirements: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Ring Central and its features and benefits, as well as the technical and business challenges and opportunities that developers face in the modern software development landscape. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate the value proposition to different audiences and levels of seniority. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Passion for technology and innovation, and a desire to learn and grow.
