Your new role My client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their team as an Estimator & Quantity Surveyor. This dual role is crucial to the success of their projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation and effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects. Analyse project requirements and specifications to determine costs. Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop accurate estimates. Monitor project costs and ensure they remain within budget. Prepare and submit regular cost reports and forecasts. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices. Manage contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms. Provide support in the preparation of tender documents and bids. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience as an Estimator and/or Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, estimating software). Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Strong organisational and time management skills.
