Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing planning applications and supporting documents
Conduct site assessments and research to gather relevant information
Prepare and write planning reports, including policy and design statements
Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders on planning matters
Support senior planners in the preparation of development plans
Keep up-to-date with changes to planning legislation and regulations
Key Requirements:
A degree in Town Planning or related discipline
Membership (or working towards) of the RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning software tools
A team player with a proactive and solutions-focused attitude
A keen interest in planning policy and urban development
